I slept in, read, and Rob came home for lunch. He had been at Buddhist school for the morning. I went back with him to the priory, and he returned to afternoon class. I wandered around the grounds of the monastery, which are lovely, and peaceful. I walked to the beach which was 6 minutes away, and took pics of the bare bay of sand, the sea having retreated at that time. It can be dangerous to walk across the bay which is huge, and you can get stuck in quicksand. People have lost their lives in the bay! So I walked along the seafront for a while, returned to the priory, and had tea in the World Peace cafe. I chatted to Stephen, Rob's friend there, and then went to take pics of the temple. The pics I later deleted as the sun was in the wrong place. If you are interested in the life of a Buddhist community, I have lots of pics of everything from my last visit to Ulverston. I met Rob afterwards, and we went home for a vegetarian dinner, chat and bed. Rob is well versed in travel, and has been to Nepal twice, and Bhutan, which is a Buddhist country.
