Oh the rain........my new raincoat was in use, but as rain was torrential I had a coffee and came home. I read my novel, then went into town and visited the information centre. I did a walk around the river Cam and along the main colleges of Cambridge. It was a rather disappointing day to be in such a lovely spot with such poor weather. I did enjoy the walk, and then went to the Chop House for bangers and mash! It was a lot of walking as the B&B is quite far from the centre of Cambridge. The walking was good for me but tiring. Early start and packing for the resumption of the journey to Ulverston tomorrow!
