We left 9:30 AM to do some shopping, then picked up Trish's dad, and we drove to the Folly Inn, where we had a meal. I took some pics outside as we were right on the sea. Then Trish dropped Gordon and I at the Ferry Station. An hour later we were in Southampton, and we dropped our bags at the Dolphin Hotel, then walked for 5 minutes to Rob's flat. Rob is Gordon's son. Wedding plans were discussed. It was good to see Rob again after about 10 years. He and Sara both work at the Dolphin Hotel, and are getting married next week. About 6 pm we went to the Oasis bar, where we met 5 of Rob's buddies, and we had drinks. 7 pm saw us at the Coriander, and Indian restaurant very close by. The meal was great. About 8:30 PM Gordon and I left the young guys to finish their stag party with Rob. We went to the Duke of Wellington pub to watch a jazz band. We didn't drink but enjoyed the music for a short while, then came back to the hotel, showered, read books, and called it a night. The Dolphin was a pleasant hotel.
