Ros and Rog drove me to Southampton to drop me at the ferry and to do shopping. I caught the Red Funnel, and Gordon, my old university buddy met me at the East Cowes Isle of Wight ferry dock. We went by bus to the Folly Inn for a great lunch. Trish, his wife and her dad was there, and it was a laugh right off the bat. We have laughed ever since ( no need to do laughter yoga here). The Isle of Wight is a wonderful seaside paradise off the UK mainland, fresh air, green and lovely. We came home to their apartment, and caught up on the news of many years. It was a great day. They have a lovely apartment . Their son, Robert will be getting married next week, and I am here to visit with them and attend the wedding. This is a wonderful place to retire to: super climate, green, clean, with every facility.
