Today we all went to another part of the Isle, dropped Trish for her hairdo, and Gordon and I took off to the Roman Villa, which is very close to Sandown where he lives. The Roman villa was build not long after the birth of Christ. Amazing Italian tile pictures and low walls remain, and have been preserved at the museum. I found it very interesting. Pics tell all. After that, the journey took us to the chalk and sandstone promontory that I showed in previous pics, but this time, we drove up along the coastal headland to look across to the Sandown beach that I have already taken pics of. We stopped for pics, drove back, picked up Trish, and onto the Crab and Lobster Inn for a light lunch, then back home for a nap.
