Saturday July 9 Southampton to Romsey

Gordon and I had a lovely breakfast at the Dolphin hotel. He then left on the Red Funnel ferry for the Isle, and I relaxed in the hotel room. Later, I left by bus for the station, and in 12 minutes was in Romsey. Ros and Rog met me. I dropped my things at their house, organized, and read. Ros and Rog came home with pizza for lunch, and after that we went to the Beggar's Festival....a local Romsey street festival of music, beer gardens etc. I managed to get lost in the crowds, but eventually we linked up again, and went home for supper. Great to be back and now the touring is finally over. I stay here till Thursday next week, attend the wedding in Southampton, then fly home!!!
