April 17 Botswana to Zimbabwe

Up incredibly early, and this really tired me out. We had to be at the Zim border early as the wait can be up to 4 hours to process visas. Going from Kisane didn't take long, and we got through Botswana border fast. The Zim border was a longer wait but as we were the first there, it only took 45 minutes. We spent time taking pics of monkeys playing around outside as they checked and approved our visas. Then it was about an hour to Vic Falls. We went straight to Wild Horizons to book our activities. This took time, but our guides went to the Vic Falls Rest Camp, set up all our tents for us, then picked us up after to bring our luggage to the tents. I booked for the Canopy tour. There are many dangerous and adrenaline activities here like Gorge Swing, Flying Fox swing over the gorge, riding elephants ( not my thing) and many more activities like horse riding etc. We returned to camp, and had lunch at the restaurant, and relaxed. I went to my new hotel N1 to register for Monday night, and was pestered like we all were by curio vendors. Then the truck dropped us all at the main Vic Falls Park to view the falls. Amazing pics were taken as the falls are in full flow due to high rainfall. They are the highest Falls in the world of course. I had a raincoat but got totally soaked as the spray is phenomenal. Everyone wore a raincoat. We walked close to the gorge edge but at times you could not see the Falls due to the high spray. The walk was quite long as there are many viewing points, ending with a view of the Vic Falls Bridge. I returned to the restaurant there, to dry out, have a drink, and then we all were taken by truck to the campground to organize. I had my laundry done. We relaxed for the rest of the day. At 7 pm we had a group dinner to say farewell. There was crocodile, wildebeest, sable on the menus, even warthog!! I didn't get into that. Afterwards we went to bed early and this was the final day of our Intrepid camping trip, fast and furious but spectacular. Out black guides were awesome.
