I slept in at the N1 hotel. Great to sleep on nice sheets, air con, and all conveniences. I relaxed in a very very hot day with blue skies, had breakfast, lunch and waited till the taxi arrived to take me to the airport. Air Zimbabwe flew me to Harare. Don was there to pick me up on arrival, and we drove to his place in Ballantine Park, Harare. Don ( my cousin) and his wife Carrie live in a lovely thatched home on a huge lot, much like a park with a lawn tennis court!! I did not see much today as it was dark, and Don and I had supper, and caught up on history over the decades. It was a great time of connection. Carrie was at a movie, and she got back later, so we all visited for a while. I have a lovely bedroom/shower and washroom. Very tired, and happy to be in Harare at 4 800 feet ( Edmonton is plus 2 000 feet high) so Harare is cool in the tropics but it is hot, despite being Autumn!!
Good night, and thanks for visiting.
