March 17 Garden Route: George, with Barbs.

Barbs and I went to the store for a few supplies, then drove to Outshoorn. The scenery is gorgeous. George is a lovely place to live by the sea, and is so well looked after, and immaculately clean. I took pics on the way, sometimes through the car window. We stopped in Outshoorn at an Afrikaans antique place, with all their old paraphernalia. Barbs and I had a curried chicken crepe, and old fashioned ginger beer. It was a short drive to the Cango Caves. On the way we stopped at an ostrich farm, but I had just missed the tour, so I went to see the Caves instead. They were very impressive. We returned by an alternative route via Mossel Bay and stopped at a lovely hotel for cool drinks and treats. Great day. Barbs made a lovely home made meal to top it all off. Thanks Barbs!!
