Quiet day with Barbs, packing to leave early afternoon on the Baz Bus!! Barbs and I had a relaxing morning. Ros, my sister skyped us, and it was great to talk with her and my niece Kirsten. After packing, we picked up a fish lunch, which we shared with Sue and Lou, Barbs’ friends. That was very pleasant. Then she dropped me at the Baz bus pick up point at McDonalds. It was a great time spent with Barbs, as we had not met for decades. Thanks a lot Barbs….we had fun!!
The bus picked up various backpackers and dropped folk off at various points. My trip to Hermanus for the shark cage dive, was cancelled unfortunately due to unfavourable sea conditions. The new plan was to go straight to Cape Town. I was in touch with Brendon, my cousin’s son in Cape Town, who picked me up in central Cape Town about 10 PM. Great to meet him and his fiancee Roxie, my hosts for the Cape Town excursion. They live in Muizenberg, which is a little way out of Cape Town. Their home is facing the sea, and almost on the beachfront. I could smell and hear the sea….what joy!!Thanks for checking in.
