Friday June 10 Ayurvedic Retreat

Great walk in the mountains overlooking Coonoor, with my English raincoat on and slight drizzle . So good, as I went alone, and got lost, no problem because I met some great Indian retired folks. Up here in the mountains the military personnel live in wonderful homes, with super views. The organic landmines (p00p ) was from bison walking down the road at night. You don't want to meet one on a dark road at night!!

Fantastic massage today, and deeper. The quality of service is fantastic. The doc is excellent, and you see him daily. The staff are very friendly, and this is a great place for detox, losing the belly and feeling much better. I have a great acupressure/relfexology guy who helps various aches and pains.

After lunch we went by taxi to Bedford to buy supplies. I hurried back for the bag pounding massage. Each basis about 15cm circumference and filled with various herbs. Good for weight loss, and various other benefits.
Above:  A new way to eat a mango. Slice off large chunks against the pit. Eat slice by pulling flesh towards you. Other side of slice do the same, and you are left with the skin.
Above and below: The twins.....this fern was productive
Below: Hindu shrine at the Ayurvedic retreat

Below: Mangosteen. I had two. You eat the white centre not the red pulpy outside. It is incredibly good for you. Check it out on Google. Not available in North America or other parts. It is a delicacy.
